Worship Team

Worship plays an integral part of every service at Mission Hills Community Church. Anointed music in the hands of surrendered musicians can have a powerful impact for God. Our worship ministries are made up of individuals who volunteer their time and God-given gifts. Although we believe you should worship wherever you find yourself, there is something special when we come together to worship God corporately. We are always on the lookout for those who are interested in helping us achieve our mission statement:

To teach, facilitate, encourage, and model a lifestyle of worship to our congregation and community.

The different band and vocal opportunities are:

Sunday Service Worship Teams – We have multiple worship bands that rotate, which allows more people to be involved.
Commitment: Practice & learn music at home, Tuesday rehearsal at 6:30pm to 8:30pm, sound check & both services on Sunday.

Special Music - Special music includes small group ensembles, solos, duets, and instrumentals.
Commitment: Practice music at home, practice with band (if applicable) and sound check before performance.

Worship Choir - Throughout the year there will be various opportunities to use a choir in our services. Some of these opportunities are Overflow worship services, seasonal events and random Sunday morning services.
Commitment: Practice & learn music at home, rehearsal time TBA, and service.
